Why recycled lead?

Switching to recycled sources does not compromise quality

Lead remains a cost-efficient, robust solution for energy storage and industrial applications. At our site we achieve purity levels and recovery rates that meet rigorous industrial demands. By processing used batteries and scrap materials we reduce waste, recover value and ensure that essential resources remain in circulation.

Site & Facilities

Our Darley Dale facility is one of the UK’s most established lead recycling sites.

It includes smelting, refining and alloying lines, polypropylene processing, a gypsum recovery plant and an on site laboratory that monitors product quality and process performance.

KEY EQUIPMENT – 1 reverb furnace, 2 short rotary furnaces, battery breaker, 12 refining kettles, 25kg & 50kg ingots and 3mT block castings and a Polypropylene extruder.
